Igie

I found another excuse to blog.hehe I was waiting for picnik to load, and since it’s taking longer than the usual, I decided to post an entry first.

By the way, this is one of the other overdue blog entries I have in my list.

I started dreaming of him since the first day I saw him. At the back of my mind, I know that he can be hard to reach, but definitely, I will have my way to him. I never stopped thinking of the possibilities, since then, once I have him in my arms. The times that we’ll be spending together; the travels and the places we’ll be visiting; the people we’ll be meeting; and, all those other important events in my life. I want him to be there with me every moment. The thing was, he was still just a dream during those times.

Until one day, an opportunity came for me. A family told me about him, that there might be a chance that I’ll be able to finally meet him and be with him. It was still just a possibility, though. The plans were not yet clear. They told me to wait. So, I did. I started to count the days, I kept asking those who told me to wait when’s the time. Days turned to weeks, and weeks turned to months. I almost thought that we’ll never meet. Then, Christmas came.

The same family member called and told me that there were already ‘arrangements’ being done for us to meet. I cannot believe what I just heard. I’m finally, finally going to meet him. I was so excited. I can’t wait that much.

January 5.

Finally, we met. I was stunned with his beauty, seeing and holding him so close. I was trying to keep a smile. I don’t want all the other people who were there to see how excited I am. I just knew it. We were meant to be.

Okay. That was a very dramatic introduction for my new toy.Haha It wasn’t really necessary, but I can’t help it. It’s exactly how I felt that time. “Him” really refers to Igie, my newest toy. Igie is actually a DSLR Camera–a Canon EOS 500D DLSR, to be exact. Okay, I’m not really good at making reviews, so just check out this site for the full specs. Anyway, I haven’t been using Igie on other stuff other than events, since I don’t have all the time yet to explore his features. I’ll make sure, though, that we’ll (me and boyfriend) find time to bond with Igie.:) Thanks Dad, by the way, for this very special gift. Buti na nga lang, si Ekloy ang Daddy ko (It’s a good thing, Ekloy’s my Daddy).haha

Just a little disclaimer: I’m not a self-proclaimed photographer. I just really love photography, and it so happened that my Dad was supportive enough to feed my needs/wants.hehe
